In September 1984, this model was introduced as a slightly upgraded version of the BV113R, with a single-pane rear window and garnishes around the headlamps like the BH120S and BH115Q.

From the end of 1986, the D2366 engine was installed instead of MAN's D2156HM, and in October 1987, the second model appeared, which received a major facelift, with a completely different appearance from the existing BV113Q. The dashboard was changed to the same shape as the BS105, and the rear lamps were changed to the BH115H.
Since it was introduced to unify the existing BV113, BV113S, BV113R, and BV113Q lineups into one, the basic model was a panel body with a steel window frame like the existing BV113.

According to official data from Daewoo Bus, 1,753 units of the BV113Q were produced until it was discontinued in July 1989.
