Establishment of the Thermal Bus Company (ETHEL)

Merger of 6 KTEL in one Unified KTEL (EKTEL).

Establishment of the state company ASPA "Urban Transport of the Athens Region" which until 1967 operates 320 privately owned buses that are part of the 6 KTEL.

Union of KTE in 4 large KTEL (1st-4th) in Athens and one in Piraeus (5th).
