Впрочем даже при отсутствии обслуживания уже устаревших морально автобусов они бы довольно спокойно доживали бы свои годы. Как уже писалось (https://fotobus.me/photo/2907672/#1603198), основная угроза для автобусов и по совместительству причина их плачевного состояния это местная молодёжь.

За получасовую поездку мы поймали лобовым с десяток камней, один из которых успел разбить стекло, а после того, как водитель не смог уехать от толпы в Ouled Tayeb (половина запрыгивала в уезжающий автобус, пока их товарищи держали двери), из автобуса даже выпал на ходу один из их компании, с чем все просто смирились. Судя по костылю у одного из оставшихся, явление это вполне рядовое.

However, even without service of already morally outdated buses, they would live out their years quite peacefully. As it has been already mentioned (https://fotobus.me/photo/2907672/#1603198), the main threat to the buses and the reason for their miserable condition is the local youth.

During a half-hour ride we got a dozen rocks in our windshields, one of which broke the glass, and after the driver could not get away from the gang in Ouled Tayeb (half of them jumped into the departing bus while their buddies were holding the doors), one of their company even fell out of the bus, which everyone just accepted. The crutch of one of the rest seemed to be a common occurrence.
