I spoke already with Mettal about this problem. He said that he maybe let check someone in Latvia the VIN of this vehicle.
There's also a problem with Nr 506: http://fotobus.msk.ru/vehicle/201001/#n212893 I think the vehicle on the picture isn't ex TICE Nr 30, but ex TICE Nr 32.

Last year I got two different sheets from TICE beginning with #21.
Both means that #33 BU 715 = VIN ...64263.

Пробивалка на vin.su (где видимо заводская база подключена) говорит, что VIN WDB35700413064263 существует (кстати выпущен 12.1990), а WDB35700413064236 - нет. Кроме того, в 37 выпуске Overseas Journal (http://psv-circle.org.uk/journal/overseas/OJ37.pdf), в разделе Люксембурга под номером BU 715 упомянут именно WDB35700413064263.

Что вас тут смущает? Тот же Overseas Journal подтверждает что это №30.
VIN №32 в Латвии не пробивается, значит такой машины у нас не было.

Нет, неизвестно, нужен номер, он наверно уже списан.
Все известные 0405 добавлены.

Following a TICE history book, it's the only of the 21-28 series (yellow) which has gone to Latvia.

21+24-27 -> Russia
23 -> now tow-bus 24
28 -> ASTI Luxbg.

The vehicle on the picture has a lightly differently-coloured front panel like Nr 32. Another thing is that the 'Service Ecoliers' destination sign on Nr. 30 looked much more used because it was browner than on Nr. 32. On Nr. 32 it was very white like on the vehicle of the picture.

It was impossible to get any older VIN than O405 #21.
Unfortunately, TICE doesn't have a museum like AVL.

If the MAN did have an automatic gearbox, it may be the case.
