Is it safe to take a picture of a bus in Baltic states when the drivers are in? The shot is made pretty close to the coach. Here, in Ukraine, you can easily receive a lot of obscene lexics from a driver and in some cases even be involved in a fight for only taking a photo. Luckily I have avoided such situations, but our local bus fans told be about several really hardrock "expirience" with drivers. That's why I'm asking.

It depends on the driver, and you can never know before you take a photo. But I would believe most of them are not those "dissatisfied" ones. Though I have met both :)

Some drivers are really friendly and are interested in what we are doing, while some other don't really like it. My most memoriable was in 2009 when I took a photo of a Riga - St. Petersburg Eurolines bus and both drivers showed me fists. :( But I don't know any cases of physical contact, usually they understand when we explain what we are doing.
