This MAN NM222 was bought second-hand with two other MAN midibuses to launch a bus route between Verviers town centre and the new shopping centre. Five years later, the bus route is likely to be withdrawn.

This MAN NM222 was new in 12/1996 to German "Stadwerke Pirmasens" with fleetnumber 3 and registration PS-J 3. In 10/2005 TEC Liège-Verviers bought it to operated a shuttle service between Verviers town centre and the then new shopping centre. This bus route is likely to be withdrawn in 01/2010.
